Asiapro Cooperative is managed by qualified professionals and visionary leaders who have had extensive exposure in various industries and workplaces with a combined work experience of over 100 years. The key stewards of the Cooperative, from the Board of Directors, group heads and area coordinators, carry with them leadership and functional expertise.

The crucial roles of management in the organization are to oversee long-term organizational strategy and evaluate the performance and management of the Cooperative. It also makes sure that the activities to build the institution are implemented at all levels of the organizational hierarchy.

Leo G. Parma is the Founder of Asiapro Cooperative and Vice Chairman of the Board.  He also acts as Chief Business Builder and Chairman of the Cooperative’s Executive Committee.  Leo has more than 25 years experience in human resource management and entrepreneurial ventures.  He is a Business Management graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University and has completed the Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP) at the University of Asia and the Pacific.  His past employers include Ayala companies such as Insular Life FGU Group and Ayala Investment & Development Corp., Ford Philippines, and Pepsico (Phils.).

Edmundo M. Castañeda is the Cooperative’s Chairman of the Board.  Ed has extensive experience in marketing and general management.  He concurrently manages the marketing function of CRL Environment Corp., a U.S. based environmental laboratory.  His other business involvements, past and present, include Sun Microsystems Phils., STI Computer College, and other companies in the marketing and information technology industries.  He is a BS Math graduate of the University of the Philippines and holds a masters degree in Business management (MBM) with distinction (graduated top of his class) from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).  He is also a Certified Computer Programmer (CCP), awarded by the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals in New York, USA.

Gabriel U. Quemado II is the President and General Manager of Asiapro Cooperative.  Gary brings with him over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales and general management.  His most recent was as Marketing Director of Triumph International Philippines, where he was responsible for the direct and retail sales businesses of the company.  His other professional involvements include stints with Bank of America and The Connor Group.  He also teaches at the College of Business Administration of the University of the Philippines.  Gary is a BS Business Economics graduate of the University of the Philippines and holds a masters degree in Economics from the University of Hawaii as an East-West Center scholar.  He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at Berkeley (University of California) and Nanyang Business School, Singapore.
