Agrilogx is a division of Asiapro.  It offers a complete solution package involving land canvassing, negotiation, land preparation, growing materials acquisition, farm management, processing and marketing.  Its activities include fertility planning, crop planning, weed control management, disease management planning, insect management planning, farm logistics, planning and execution, sales and marketing, and nutrient management.

Starting with a 15-hectare banana plantation, Agrilogx’s “KAGAWANI  FARM 1” in Capalong, Panabo, Davao City is a true showcase of Asiapro’s know-how in land preparation and farm management.  The plantation is efficiently operating and run by Jose Diaz, who was Senior Manager at Del Monte Phils. Inc..  Mr. Diaz worked at DMPI for over 30 years before joining Asiapro.

Agrilogx’s initial capitalization for farmland development, inputs, and technical costs comes from its mother enterprise, Asiapro Cooperative.  The worker-owners of Asiapro are rolling-up the Cooperative’s revolving fund to invest in this enormous business initiative.

Agrilogx aims to expand the Kagawani Farm project with an ambitious complement of 75has. of land development in 2010, as areas in Lambingi, Banga, South Cotabato are being eyed as the next farm site, which will be called “KAGAWANI  FARM 2”.  This expansion would have around 90% of banana trees plantation and around 10% will be allotted for the production of papaya and cucumbers.

In the pipeline and part of the continuing projects of Agrilogx, is the corn seed production.  It is being negotiated with Pioneer Hi-Bred Phils., Inc., an amalgam and a trusted name in large-scale corn production.  Asiapro’s Agrilogx  is creating a corn growership
production schema with Pioneer Hi-Bred.

In other developments, Asiapro Cooperative’s top management has announced its intent to access additional capital to beef-up Agrilogx in its plan to implement its vision by sourcing funds from development banks around the country.
