Gawanihan 2011 paves the way for the year ahead

Enthusiasm filled the Magellan Room of the Discovery Suites in Pasig City when the Luzon Business Unit and Head Office support groups of Asiapro Cooperative had its kick-off for 2011.  Chairman Ed Castañeda welcomed everyone with enlightening guidelines on leadership.

Rolling on to transform, accelerate and sustain the goals this year, President and General Manager, Mr. Gary Quemado, proceeded to the business direction for 2011.

Transforming the business through better governance and organizational development, accelerating new accounts acquisition expanding current businesses, and sustaining cooperative values were the contents of his optimistic talk.

Supporting these strategies were the business highlights and financial reports delivered by Mr. Marcel dela Cruz, Organization Planning and Budget Group Head, and Mr. Rolly Malana, Chief Finance Officer.

Asiapro’s invited resource person, Mr. Francis J. Kong stressed the value of character, wisdom, innovation and discipline in effective leadership. He further emphasized that a great leader can develop another great leader.  This, in effect, can result to continued business growth and stability.

Everyone left the venue inspired by the brighter prospects for 2011.
