Coop Sector Gears Up for 10-10-10

Chairperson Agapito “Butz”Aquino of the Philippine Cooperative Center (PCC), emphasized the value of unity in this year’s theme of the summit, “Towards A Shared Vision: One Coop Movement, One Vision, One Nation”. Chairperson Aquino sees in the forthcoming Coop Summit the importance of commitment setting, as well as forging partnerships and strategic directions with all stakeholders to further advance the agenda of nation building thru cooperative development.
PCC targets a participation of about 10,000 coop leaders from all over the country plus international delegates. Federations and unions will likewise be represented along with national and local government, and cooperative development councils, private sector, and civil society.
