Gleceper Ian Peñalosa

Ian is always eager to learn and grow in the ever-evolving world of business and IT. Over the years, he has gained experience in various areas, including data architecture, software project management, and implementation across diverse industries like sales & marketing, shipping, telecommunications, banking, automotive, travel & tourism, and cooperatives.

While he holds a DECS-PESFA scholarship in Computer Systems Design and Programming from AMA Computer Learning Center, he's also grateful for the opportunity to have received a DECS-ETEEAP program grant which supported his studies toward a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at TUP Manila.

Michael Gonzalez

With a strong interest on innovation and learning, Michael continues to be a professorial lecturer at the University of the Philippines and sits on the board of a micro- financing company. He is a Trustee and Chairman of Finance Committee of the UP Engineering Research and Development Foundation, and involves himself in educational charities. With over 30 years of business development, project and program management, manufacturing and retail operations, poultry farm and production operations, and industrial and civil engineering experience, Michael brings with him expertise gained from DCCD, Phinma, DMCI, Rustan’s, Vinnel Belvoir and Ramcar. He was held Chief Operating and Chief Executive positions in these enterprises.

From the University of the Philippines where he received his degree in BS Civil Engineering cum laude, Michael took his Masters of Science degree in Engineering Management from Stanford University. He has also attended a short poultry management course from the University of Georgia, and a retail operations management course with Babson College conducted in Singapore. Doing gym to try to manage his weight, he reads intensively on history and social sciences. His main hobby though is painting landscapes in oil with an impressionist eye.

Gabriel Quemado II

An advocate of learning, Gary serves on the board of a number of foundations focused on education. He also taught at the Asian Institute of Management, University of the Philippines, and the Ateneo de Manila University. With over 30 years of marketing, sales and general management experience, Gary brings with him expertise gained from Triumph International Philippines, Bank of America and The Connor Group. From the University of the Philippines where he received his degree in BS Business Economics, Gary took his Masters degree in Economics from the University of Hawaii as an East-West Center scholar.

He has also attended the Joint Advanced Management Program of UC-Berkeley and the Nanyang Business School. Teeing off at the golf course, sweating it out at the gym, reading up on management, and immersing himself in the classics, that’s how Gary spends his free time.

Angelique Divinagracia

A graduate of Southwestern University, Angelique’s passion is operations management. She worked for more than ten years as Assistant Outlet Manager for Duty Free Philippines. From there, she moved to Alexander Resources and Expercs Manpower Services.She attended several training workshops, from product seminars, and manpower and customer relations programs.

Her experience in the Visayas region makes it easier for her to communicate with Asiapro’s Visayan member-owners and clients.On weekends, Angelique enjoys cooking for her family. At times, they watch movies together. She also reads up on health and wellness.

Dennis Qua

Dennis is a product of the Jesuit education system, taking his grade school and high school studies at Xavier School and finished with a B.S. Business Management degree at Ateneo de Manila University. He has an extensive banking experience having worked at Commercial Bank of Manila, Boston Bank of the Philippines, Solidbank Corp.

And with a sixteen-year career at Metrobank capped as Senior Vice President, Deputy Head-Treasury Group. He was Consultant-Dean, Financial Markets Sector and Learning and Development Division of the Metrobank Academy upon his retirement in March 2016.

Dexter Batingal

Hailing from Davao City, Dexter has come a long way in the last 15 years he has been with Asiapro. Starting as the Officer in Charge of the Calinan Satellite Office, the highest position in 2001, he was then assigned as New Accounts Head, then to Cluster Head, and even to various departments including operations, logistics and savings and credit services. All his hard work paid off when he was finally promoted to Chief of Operations (COO) for Mindanao with eight (8) satellite heads reporting to him.

Dexter completed his MBA at the Ateneo de Davao University. He also gained practice in handling different business units and positions. The theories he learned and experiences he acquired taught him how to run a business strategically.

Edeward C. Miano

He finished Strategic Business Economic Program from University of Asia and the Pacific. After 15 years of working (plus a few awards) at Zuellig Pharma, Ed decided to retire. Currently he manages the Asiapro construction business platform for Makati Development Corporation. He believes his education from the Philippine School of Business Administration is integral to what he has become, and what he is able to do today – for the cooperative, the member-owners and of course, the clients.

A God-loving family man, Ed puts his family first, and occasionally takes them on road trips on weekends and holidays.

Erlinda Calangi

She finished her undergraduate and law degrees in University of Santo Tomas where she both earned the academic honor of Cum Laude. Has over 35 years of law practice with expertise in Litigations, Labor Relations/HR and Corporate Law gained from an ideal combination of law firm, solo practice and In-House Legal Counsel engagements in, among others, a publicly listed company, Alliance Select Foods International, Inc., and a universal bank, China Banking Corporation. She has extensive experience in handling traditional litigations before trial and appellate courts and adept in both pleadings preparation and trial, as well as in alternative dispute resolutions.

As corporate lawyer in general corporate services: company formation, contract drafting, review & negotiations, legal opinions, advice and support, legal research and writing, regulatory compliance, etc. And in specialized corporate services: corporate governance, risk and compliance (GRC), corporate rehabilitation/restructuring/receivership, corporate development, mergers& acquisitions (M&A), business exit/succession/continuity planning, corporate secretarial work for private and public companies, tax planning, public listings and offerings, private placements. etc.

Gerry Cain

He is currently finishing his Masters degree in Business Administration at the Ateneo de Davao University. Graduated from Xavier University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. Gerry has a wide experience in plantation development and establishment particularly Cavendish and lakatan banana, solo papaya, asparagus and Haas avocado.

He worked as Manager for Production Operations and Compliance of Lapanday Foods Corporation. He has a solid work experience with Dole Philippines starting from being a Farm Supersivisor then a Financial Analyst, Executive Participant to Japan Market Exchange Program, Production Planning Superintendent and became Zone Manager to South Cotabato, North Cotabato and Socsargen. Gerry also worked for Land Bank of the Philippines as Agrarian Affairs Analyst II.

Joerence Talampas

Has over 15 years of experience in Finance. Joe, a Bedan Alumni with a MBA from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, started his career as a Research Analyst and worked as a Senior Auditor and FX Dealer for various companies. He then started his career at Asiapro as an Investment Analyst and got promoted to Finance Operations Head to oversee the overall financial performance, cash flows and financial strategies of one of its Business Platforms (Managed Services-Nationwide). He worked on this role for 7 years before assuming the office of the Chief Finance Officer.

Joe loves travelling and video games. He currently has three dogs at home and is a fan of Comedy, Crime and Sci-Fi TV Shows. He's also into watching documentaries about History, Business, Space Exploration and Astrophysics.

Juella P. Caballero

Juella finished her Master of Science in Human Resource Management degree from the University of Santo Tomas. She also completed her Bachelor of Science in Tourism degree from the same university and graduated Cum Laude. She has over ten years’ experience in Customer Service, Training and Organizational Development.

She worked with several companies like Philippine Airlines, Train Station and Globe Telecom before joining Asiapro. It is here in the Cooperative where she grew her career by leading the Member Development Department for 6 years where she not only handles training and organizational development projects but also oversees HR Services in Visayas and engages in HR Business Partnerships. Juella enjoys travelling, watching Netflix series, movies and documentaries, and spending time with her family and friends.

Lexbee Canlas Nones

Engr. Lexbee Nones is a motivated, innovative, and goal-oriented Thomasian engineer who is the currently the Chief Engineer of the Contracting Group. His role entails holistically managing and overseeing all projects. Moreover, his vast experience in construction explains his notable background on the industries of food & beverages, and real estate development.

Previously, he was part of the Ramcar Group of Companies (KFC Philippines) as the Director for Project and Design Management. Later on, he became the Engineering Head of Pacifica Hamana Development Corporation (Century Pacific Group of Companies). Other companies which he has worked with are the following: Moldex Realty Incorporated, Empire East Land Holdings, Incorporated, Mancon Berhad-CBCD Joint Venture Corporation, Group Management Corporation, and Sysco Construction Group Incorporated.

Mary Jean Tejada

She is a consistent honor student, and recipient of the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award, it was no surprise that Jean held senior positions at the ND Shipping Group of Companies, and at the Park Inn by Radisson Davao. She graduated from the Ateneo de Davao University (AB English/Literature), took up her Master of Arts in English at the Ateneo de Davao Graduate School, and received her Master in Management from the University of the Philippines.

Michael Angelo B. Ortiz

Has over 30 years of extensive experience in the various fields of aviation operations. His assignments covered customer facing activities and other “above the wing” operations as well as “below the wing” activities like ground handling, aircraft cleaning and cargo handling, among others.

With experience in Ticketing, Airport/Passenger Handling Services, Ramp Operations, Cargo Sales and Services for both Domestic and International, Aviation Related Corporate Logistics covering General, Technical Supply Warehousing Management and Operations, General Purchasing, Material Planning, Aircraft Parts, Engine Leasing and Acquisition. His last position was as Director for Ground Operations for Pan Pacific Airlines. He was also the Director for Corporate Logistics with Cebu Pacific Air Inc., where he stayed for 10 years. Mike also ventured into a number of entrepreneurial ventures involving manpower services, food retailing and the sale/lease of aircraft, engines and aircraft parts.

Rafael T. Alvaran

Rising from the ranks, Paeng’s determination to succeed never faltered. From working at a school supplies factory during the summer in the 1970s, Paeng worked his way up the corporate ladder.A graduate of AB Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas, Paeng’s marketing and business knowledge is culled from a three-decade experience in multinational companies like Zuellig Pharma, Abbott Laboratories, Schering-Plough, 3M, iNova, and Galderma.

A long distance runner and ‘smartphone’ photographer, Paeng loves the great outdoors.For quiet moments, reading, social networking and listening to music top his list of favorite activities. Paeng likewise makes sure he has time for church and community activities on the weekend.

Rodel S. Esguerra

Before he became the Independent Manufacturing Group Head in 2022, Rodel has established an impressive track record during his tenure as the Technical Services Director at Asiapro for 4 years.
He is an accomplished professional who holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, under a DOST scholarship. Rodel's commitment to continuous learning is evident in his academic achievements, as he successfully completed his Master's in Business Administration from Ateneo's Regis Program.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Rodel has actively pursued professional development opportunities to broaden his expertise. He participated in International course on Poultry Operations in North Carolina, enhancing his knowledge in this field. Furthermore, Rodel has obtained a professional Certificate in Facilities Management from the National Engineering Center at UP Diliman. Rodel's diverse background encompasses valuable experience in research and development, production operations, and facilities management. Prior to joining Asiapro, he held the role of Farm Facilities Manager at Poultrymax Omnis (KFC), where he successfully managed various aspects of vertically integrated poultry facilities for over 5 years. Additionally, Rodel contributed his technical expertise as a research engineer at UP ISSI and UP ERDFI.

Rodel concurrently oversees the Industrial Engineering Department (IED) of the Cooperative serving all business units for project improvement and client transition into toll manufacturing. IED is under the Office of the Chief Operating Officer.

Vincent John A. Elago

John joined Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines after graduating from the Ateneo de Zamboanga, with a degree in Business Management. He wanted to be in sales and distribution, and his passion for the field was rewarded with several excellence awards. John is a certified sales goal-achiever, despite obstacles like calamities and critical areas. His sales team in 2012 and 2013 received the high honor of being the Number 1 Sales Team.

John’s extensive 15-year experience in sales is an asset to Asiapro. John and his wife enjoy activities together on weekends, from tennis, biking, golfing to swimming, and playing badminton. He also enjoys action films, and loves cooking.
